TOMRA Food, the leading manufacturer of food sorting and peeling solutions, has once again participated in the Agroprodmash Expo. This is one of the largest exhibitions of equipment, machinery and ingredients for the food and processing industry in Russia.
The annual Agroprodmash Expo has been demonstrating the best world achievements of the food and processing industry for two decades, promoting the implementation of state-of-the-art solutions and technologies by Russian companies. This is an important industry platform for active and fruitful communication between major players in the industry.
This year TOMRA Food participated in the exhibition for the fifth time. This time the company sponsored the VI Annual Conference, “Modern Vegetable and Fruit Processing Technologies and Equipment”, which traditionally attracts the attention of industry professionals. This shows the importance of the Russian market for the company – TOMRA Food stands for its active development, particularly through the implementation of automated peeling and sorting solutions at food processors, thereby improving the safety of food products and customer satisfaction.
TOMRA Food was represented at the conference by Albert Akhmetzyanov, Area Sales Manager, who made a presentation concerning a wide range of problems and solutions. A significant part of the presentation was devoted to the problem of reducing costs and food waste – both can be achieved by investing in state-of-the-art sorting equipment. Akhmetzyanov also talked about TOMRA Food technologies and solutions that are about to become available to Russian customers.
During this presentation, the TOMRA 3A Optical Sorter made its debut in Russia. This is the most robust, reliable, and cost-effective field optical sorter. It provides superior sorting quality, contributes to a significant reduction in labor costs, and has high throughput – up to 100 tons per hour. Thanks to these advantages, the TOMRA 3A sorter is a highly effective investment that can significantly improve the grower’s profitability.
Commenting on the company’s participation in the exhibition, Akhmetzyanov stressed its importance for the industry as a whole: “TOMRA Food’s participation in Agroprodmash Expo has become a tradition. The first time we participated was in 2014, when the company fully entered the Russian market. The exhibition has proven itself over the years as an effective platform that promotes a transparent and safe market of food products in the country. Safety is one of the top priorities of TOMRA Food, regardless of the region of presence.”
